What if ‘Church’ could become not a symbol for a religion that suppresses the human body, the soul, the wild ecstatic life of the earth but a vehicle for a movement that helps liberate it at the moment when we, the earth, need it most?
What if the breakdown of our planet and civilisation was not the ending, but an initiation of humanity into unity, into remembering ourselves as ecstatic alive cells as part of one, ecstatically alive planet? What if from this place we chose to stand and move, powered by the whole in response to planetary emergency?
What is Church of Earth?
Church of Earth is a movement to support the transition from our disconnected, dying civilisation, to the emerging one, anchored in the recognition and rememberance of us all as part of one pulsing, ecstatically alive, sentient planet.
We believe that at the centre of our planetary crisis lives our disconnection from the earth and from life itself.
We believe that it is precisely the conditions of a planetary scale crisis that provide us with a one time opportunity, to come together with not ourselves at the centre but the earth itself.
